SIXTEEN 10 specialises in handcrafted cabinetry and bespoke timber furniture for clients across Scotland and the UK. Known for his attention to detail, design sensibility, and approachable nature, Ross brings a personal touch to every project, ensuring a collaborative and rewarding experience for each client.
Our Story
SIXTEEN 10 is a bespoke furniture and cabinetry studio founded in 2022 by Ross McCormack, continuing the legacy of his grandfather, a traditional cabinet maker with a deep respect for craft and detail. Inspired by this heritage, Ross developed a passion for woodworking early on, which led him to study Furniture Craft and Design at Glasgow City College, where he earned an HND. His formal training was followed by years of hands-on experience with some of Scotland’s most respected cabinet makers, honing his skills across disciplines including custom joinery, fine furniture making, and one-off statement pieces.

Whether a client comes with a clear vision or needs help shaping their ideas, we offer thoughtful guidance throughout the process, adapting designs, materials, and finishes to create something truly unique. Drawing inspiration from Scotland’s rich natural landscapes and timeless materials, SIXTEEN 10 blends traditional techniques with contemporary design. All furniture and cabinetry are made to order using sustainably sourced hardwoods and quality materials, reflecting a commitment to longevity, sustainability, and enduring design.
