Welcome to SIXTEEN 10.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website (www.sixteen10.co.uk) and the purchase of any goods or services offered through it. By accessing, browsing, or placing an order through our site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use this website or place any orders.

SIXTEEN 10 reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on the site. It is your responsibility to review these Terms regularly. Continued use of the website after changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.

All of our furniture and cabinetry is made to order. Each item is individually crafted based on your preferences, which may include dimensions, timber selection, and finishes. As such:

• Natural variations in wood grain, colour, knots, and tone are to be expected and are not considered defects.

• Images on the site are for illustrative purposes only.

• Lead times vary depending on the project and will be confirmed at the time of order.

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and exclude VAT unless otherwise stated.

Full payment is required at the time of order unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Once payment is received, we will confirm the order and begin production.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel any order at our discretion. If cancelled, any payment made will be refunded.

Made-to-Order Items: Once production has begun, cancellations are not accepted.

In-Stock Items: You may cancel an order for an in-stock item by emailing hello@sixteen10.co.uk within 72 hours of placing the order. We will confirm the cancellation once received.

All items are thoroughly quality-checked before dispatch.

Upon delivery, please inspect your items immediately. Only sign for the delivery if you are satisfied with the condition of the item. If you are unable to inspect the contents at the time of delivery, sign to indicate that only the external packaging has been checked, and report any issues within 24 hours.

If you sign and later discover damage, the courier may not accept liability.

Access and Delivery Requirements:

• You are responsible for ensuring that items can be delivered to the intended location. Please consider all access points (doorways, staircases, lifts, etc.).

• If delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions not advised in advance, no refunds will be provided. Additional delivery attempts may incur charges.

Delivery Terms:

• Standard delivery is to the ground floor only and handled by a single driver.

• Enhanced delivery (e.g. two-person delivery, installation) may be available at additional cost and must be arranged in advance.

• Delivery lead times are estimates and may vary. SIXTEEN 10 is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or events beyond our control.

Made-to-Order Items:

• As each piece is custom-built, returns are not accepted unless the product is faulty or not as described.

• Any faults must be reported to hello@sixteen10.co.uk within 7 days of delivery, with supporting photos.

• Returns must be sent in the original packaging where possible.

In-Stock Items:

• Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unused items in their original condition.

• Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. Original delivery fees are non-refundable.

General Conditions:

• If returned goods are not handled with reasonable care and arrive damaged, we may deduct from your refund to reflect the loss in value.

• Items that cannot be delivered due to access limitations are not eligible for refund.

Wood Variations:

• We use high-quality, furniture-grade wood that naturally varies in grain, tone, and character. These are celebrated features of the material and are not grounds for return.

• If you have strong preferences for grain, colour, or timber characteristics, please inform us before production begins.

Wood Movement:

• Wood is a natural material that may shrink, expand, or warp due to changes in humidity and temperature.

• Although we use timber dried to proper moisture levels, we cannot accept returns for movement due to environmental changes after delivery.

• Maintaining consistent interior conditions will help prevent such issues.

Care instructions are provided for all furniture.

Following these guidelines is essential to preserve the quality and longevity of your items.

Improper use or neglect may void any rights to repair or replacement.

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss related to product use or delayed delivery.

Our total liability for any product shall not exceed the purchase price paid.
